2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards
Walk Cataract Gorge welcomes the National Tourism Awards in March 2019
I’m looking forward to welcoming attendees of the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards to my ‘back yard’, the stunning Cataract Gorge Reserve, on 1 March 2019.
Walk Cataract Gorge conducts guided walking tours daily through Cataract Gorge and around First Basin, providing the perfect opportunity to connect through knowledge and experience, to the place you are visiting.
As Mayor Albert van Zetten said in September 2017 in response to the announcement of the awards being held in Launceston, "We know that the Cataract Gorge is one of the most significant tourism attractions in this state.” and "We believe there's no better location in our beautiful city to host an event of this magnitude, giving it a truly unique backdrop.”
Hear hear! Walk Cataract Gorge couldn’t agree more!
Joining me on a walking tour will be one of the special things to do during your visit to Launceston. You’ll;

Experience a deeper understanding through, not only seeing with fresh eyes, but hearing, smelling, touching and tasting the Gorge
